From Our Founder

After personally experiencing and helping clients navigate treatment in our fragmented medical and mental healthcare systems, I founded Better Being Main Line in 2017 with the intention of providing integrative and evidenced-based care for those struggling with both psychological and sexual concerns. Our therapists provide personalized and compassionate care to individuals and couples struggling with relationship issues, sexual concerns, traumatic experiences, burnout and anxiety. We value strong relationships with our clients and our clinicians work in a nonjudgmental, empowering and supportive manner.

Our Approach

  • Evidenced-based Interventions: We use evidenced-based techniques like EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and established behavioral sex therapy techniques to help clients achieve their goals
  • Expertise: We have advanced training and clinical experience in sex therapy, couples therapy, trauma and anxiety disorders
  • Integration: We address both sexual and non-sexual concerns couples and individuals bring to us, leading to a healthier level of functioning overall
  • Culturally Competent Treatment: We address the role of race, ethnicity, gender, class, disability status, sexual orientation, religion etc. on our clients’ lives and understandings of themselves and presenting problems
  • Collaboration: We value collaboration with you and other health care professionals involved in your care to provide ensuring effective and holistic care
  • Convenience: We offer appointments both in person and virtually at flexible times including the mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to helping clients learn how to use skills and insights gained in therapy to create meaningful change in their day-to-day lives. I specialize in working with individuals and couples seeking to work through challenges related to sex (low desire, sexual pain, sexual trauma), postpartum related moods and adjustment to motherhood, anxiety and depression. My work with couples, which is rooted in my training in the Gottman Method not only deals with couple conflict and its resolution, but also extends beyond the conflict into the everyday aspects of couple interaction through building and repairing the couple’s friendship, love, and the couple’s shared meaning system.
