In this 6 week workshop designed for married couples, you and your partner will learn reconnecting and enhancing your relationship and explore why some relationships work while some don't. The marriage and family therapist Elvan Kama Kurtz and the mental health counselor Kellie Jackson will be guiding couples through various topics. As a couple, you'll be learning how to develop resiliency, the skills to engage in effective communication, your conflict styles & managing conflict and stress, work effectively together as a team & navigate daily responsibilities and caregiving roles, build and improve sex, romance, passion and intimacy.
The workshop combines teaching with couples exercises where you and your partner build relationship skills to enhance your marital satisfaction and happiness.
If you have difficulty communicating and understanding each other, if you are stuck and arguing in circles about the same issues, or if you are in a good relationship and would like to make it even better: Then, this couples workshop is for you!
Research shows that on average, couples wait six years from the first sign of problems before they seek help. Please do not wait until your relationship is falling apart to get help. Healthy and happy marriages don't just happen. Problems don't just go away on their own. A good relationship takes knowledge and effort.
