I graduated with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Chester University in 2021. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and am working towards state licensure. I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and narrative therapy. I treat individuals to support them in their efforts to recognize their resilience and grow their empowerment. I am also a Certified Trauma Professional.
As someone who has witnessed the harms of societal pressures, “norms,” and toxic relationships, I am especially passionate about challenging unhealthy perceptions of sex and empowering those with sexual concerns and pelvic pain. I specialize in working with issues related to the pelvic floor, sexual satisfaction, sexuality, and women’s issues. I also treat anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, stress management, and other mood disorders.
Counseling is a collaborative process built from a strong therapeutic relationship. I recognize the courage one has when coming to counseling. Therefore, I welcome you wherever you currently are and respect your wishes for the counseling process. I want you to feel heard while also having a voice throughout our sessions. I believe therapy can grow an individual’s awareness of themselves and those around them. I intentionally structure my approach to accommodate each client’s needs and concerns.
Journaling and reading poetry and various books are activities I enjoy and find healing. Whether I am writing about my own experiences or reading another story, I find tranquility in this creative expression. Therefore, I appreciate you trusting me with your story and allowing me to collaboratively walk along side your experiences.
